Extension of Autumn Path

This project will construct a 42-foot wide collector roadway extension of Autumn Path, north of Bonaire Path and east of the Bella Vista development.  Pedestrian facilities will include a trail on the east side of the road and a sidewalk on the west side of the road.  Watermain will be installed the full length of the road, along with some sanitary sewer.  Storm pipe will be constructed to existing ponds.

  • The contractor is completing final corrections and will be paving and striping by early fall.

Proposed Schedule

  • Construction Start – July 15, 2020
  • Public Assessment Hearing Continued – October 5, 2020
  • Open as Gravel Roadway – Mid-November 2020
  • Asphalt Paving and Substantial Completion – Spring/Summer 2021

Connemara Trail Extension

This project extends Connemara Trail east of Akron Ave approximately 1600 feet.  Also included is the extension of watermain, stormwater infrastructure and sanitary sewer.  Pedestrian facilities will include a sidewalk and trail.

Propose Schedule

  • Construction Start – July 2021
  • Paving – October 2021
  • Final Completion – Spring 2022

Bonaire Path Improvements

Overview

This project will convert Bonaire Path East to an urban paved roadway.  The project will include water main extension and railroad crossing improvements to extend the City’s Quiet Zone to include that crossing. Union Pacific Railroad will be installing new crossing material as well as signals and cross arms at this crossing. The Quiet Zone implementation will be done after final construction is complete.

Latest Updates

  • Currently Rosemount is waiting for Union Pacific Railroad to complete the installation of new crossing material along with poles and cross arms. This improvement will allow the rail crossing to become part of the quiet zone in Rosemount. That work is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2022.
